As the CEPU is the federal counterpart of the Electrical Trade Union of Employees Queensland (ETUQ), the application is for consent to insert extracts of the ETUQ rules into the Section A CEPU eligibility rules by inserting a new sub-rule 2.2A. The proposed rule allows the relevant workers to be represented by the CEPU in the Federal system and does not extend CEPU’s coverage beyond the eligibility of the ETUQ.
